Teaching has been a continuous part of my academic and professional work, spanning physics, mathematics, medical technology and interdisciplinary subjects.
My approach is based on understanding rather than memorisation: equations and models become useful only when their physical or practical meaning is clear. Depending on the subject, this may mean connecting mathematical concepts with real-world applications, linking fluid physics to medical technology, or moving from a theoretical model directly to an experiment.
My teaching activities have included courses and laboratory work at universities in Germany and Canada, ranging from introductory mathematics and physics to molecular fluid physics, soft matter, biological physics and medical technology.
