Here is a project found on the Internet. It embodies exactly what is meant by the category  "Working Start Trek TNG Replica Technology - no facsimile".
A tribute to Jeremy S. Cook. Excellent work. It’s interesting how “the future” sneaks up on you. One obvious source of inspiration for the products themselves, and for the people that would eventually build the data-driven world we live in today, is Star Trek. One of the most intriguing pieces of tech that these future-dwellers possessed was a device called a Tricorder, giving them all kinds of useful situational info. Though we aren’t quite to that stage in computer development — yet — that didn’t stop YouTuber obso1337 from turning a toy tricorder into something that works in a more realistic way using a Raspberry Pi Zero.... Anyone who still believes that is possible to apply for a patent of Warp Drive like in the science fiction of "Starship Enterprise" is at least too late. There are several
active patents since year 2000.

Patents:

1. Technical and theoretical specifications for warp drive technology (Idea) WO2001057881A1   [https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2001057881A1/en]

2. Technical and theoretical specifications for warp drive technology (Technical) US20030114313A1 [https://patents.google.com/patent/US20030114313A1/en]

3. Warp drive for aerospace vehicle USD580465S1(Technical) [https://patents.google.com/patent/USD580465S1/en]

The patents describe the use of technical drive systems that work by changing gravitational fields. These drive systems are not dependent on the emission of matter to produce thrust, but produce a change in the curvature of space-time according to the general theory of relativity, according to the patent specification. Nevertheless, the patent is registered under the classification engines.

Also interesting Paper which deals with Warp Drive Theory  has been submitted at arxiv.org.
